Hello, my name is Constantin Boes and I'm an industrial designer living in Valencia, Spain.
I discovered early on, that design and modelling is my passion and decided to graduate from a technical high school with a focus on design and media technology. Since I think that one of the greatest skills a designer needs to fulfill his job is to combine ideas, cultures and lifestyles, I used the year after my graduation to gain insights into different cultures and professions.
After a few months in Valencia, Spain, where I attended a spanish school to learn the language and get closer to the people, I travelled to Peru to study the country and its people.
After finishing my language course with level B1 I decided to work as a carpenter in Guatemala to get to know the practical side of life in Latin America. After my time in Guatemala I travelled through Panama and returned to Germany in March 2017, to start my studies at University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
From September 2020, I was able to gain valuable experience in the design of seating and upholstered furniture, as well as home accessories, as part of an internship at the Jehs+Laub design studio in Stuttgart. During the 6 months, I was able to work on projects for major companies in this field, including Brunner, Wilkhahn, Cor and Davis Furniture.
In August 2022 I graduated from Faculty of Design Darmstadt and got my diploma as an industrial designer.
After a semester at the Universidad Politecnica in Madrid I moved to Valencia and am now working for Gallega Design as part of an internship. I also work as a freelancer in a small furniture company and create designs for all diffrent kinds of clients.
If you are interested in my CV, just send me an email.
